Malmon currently employs a number of key technical and support staff to complement the delivery needs of our current and potential clients. This team of dedicated individuals is made up of registered civil engineering professionals, graduates and students to complement our core competencies. Support staff involved with internal services such as administration, human resources, finance and procurement help the company to ensure efficient services to our clients.

Ramatlhodi Joseph Ramalope

Project Leadership

Joseph Ramalope is the founder and sole Managing Member of Malmon Developments. He holds a B Tech Degree in Civil Engineering as well as Master of Science (MSc Eng) in Technology Management. He is registered as a professional engineering technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). He is also a member of the South African Institute of Civil Engineers (SAICE) as well as the Institute for Professional Engineering Technologists (IPET). He has 15 years’ experience in design and construction of civil engineering infrastructure having worked for both Construction and Consulting Civil Engineering companies within and outside the borders of South Africa. He has also secured professional registration as a South African Construction Project Management Professional (SACPMP) with the South African Council of Project and Construction Management Professionals. Joseph Ramalope fulfils the role of sole director and project leader overseeing the execution of all construction and project management projects in our portfolio.

Emmanuel Lekama joined Malmon Developments in August 2024. He holds a National Diploma in Information Technology and a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Vaal University of technology. He has 10 years of practical experience in the construction and management of civil engineering projects, with adept knowledge in road construction, material, ancillary works, stormwater infrastructure, surveying, and sewer reticulation. Emmanuel fulfills the role of site agent at Malmon Developments and oversees various public and private projects ensuring that all projects are delivered to the required quality standards, within budget, and on schedule. Riaan fulfills the role of project manager and oversees a range of private and public works projects. He specializes in project management, project administration, contract documentation and contract management.

Sihle Dhladhla holds a national diploma in civil engineering obtained from the Vaal University of Technology. Sihle joined the Malmon Developments team in 2018 as a junior resident engineer. Sihle oversees the implementation of numerous construction projects where he fulfils the role of the Site Engineer on site.

Riaan Fourie joined Malmon Developments in 2014. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering obtained from the University of Johannesburg in 2010 and has accumulated over 8 years’ experience in design and construction of Civil Engineering infrastructure. He is currently registered as a Candidate Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). Riaan fulfills the role of project manager and oversees a range of private and public works projects. He specializes in project management, project administration, contract documentation and contract management.

Khaya Tshunungwa joined Malmon Developments in 2017 and holds a National Diploma in Civil Engineering. He has more than 4 years’ experience in the implementation and design of civil engineering projects. Khaya fulfils the role of junior engineer and facilitates the design of civil engineering infrastructure from concept phase to construction phase. He specializes in the design of water reticulation and roads infrastructure design.

Vathiswa Peter joined Malmon Developments in 2016. She holds a Computer Aided Draughting (CAD) Specialization diploma obtained from CTU Training Solutions in 2014 and is acquiring more knowledge and experience in design and construction of Civil Engineering infrastructure. She is registered as an Affiliate Member with the South African Institute of Draughting (SAID). Vathiswa fulfils the role of draftsperson and oversees that all drawings are up to standard in accordance with Civil Engineering criteria. She specializes in submission and distribution of As-builts, Engineering drawings and locality plans to City of Ekurhuleni, officials of GDHS and Contractors.

Kwazi Dlamini joined Malmon Developments in October 2025. He holds a National Diploma(NDip) in Civil Engineering and is currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineering Technician (Pr Techni Eng) with the engineering council of South Africa (ECSA) and Associate Member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE). He has over 7 years’ experience in various projects around the country from bulk infrastructure projects including water pipelines, sewer refurbishment, water treatment plants, roads and stormwater. Kwazi fulfills the role of Site Agent at Malmon Developments managing the construction of various projects under our portfolio.Emmanuel fulfills the role of site agent at Malmon Developments and oversees various public and private projects ensuring that all projects are delivered to the required quality standards, within budget, and on schedule.

Melusi Nkabini joined Malmon Developments in March 2025. He holds a National Diploma in Civil Engineering and is registered as a Professional Engineering Technician (Pr Techni Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). He is also registered as a Candidate Professional Construction Project Manager (CPr CPM) with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) and is an Affiliate Member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE). He has 14 years of experience in the civil engineering and construction industry delivering various projects including roads and earthworks, bridges, water and wastewater infrastructure, pipelines and maintenance works. He has extensive experience in contract administration, commercial management, quality assurance, and construction supervision. Melusi fulfills the role of Site Agent at Malmon Developments managing the construction of various projects under our portfolio.

Thabiso Mabale joined Malmon Developments in October 2025. He holds an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Johannesburg. He is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Candidate Engineer and is a member of the South African Asset Management Association (SAAMA). He has more than 7 years of experience in municipal infrastructure design, construction supervision, asset management and construction management. He is proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including the iDAS plug-in, Civil Designer 8.3–8.5 and Bentley MicroStation. He also holds a certificate in the Fundamentals of Civil 3D from Modena. He has developed a diverse background in municipal infrastructure design, construction supervision, asset management and construction management. Thabiso fulfills the position of Site Agent at Malmon Developments, where he is responsible for coordinating construction activities, managing site operations and overseeing the successful execution of civil engineering projects.

Nkateko joined Malmon Developments in July 2021. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Johannesburg which was obtained in 2017, and a Certificate in Financial Management from the University of Cape Town which was obtained in 2022. He has over 9 years’ experience in the design and implementation of civil engineering projects ranging from roads, stormwater, water and sewer disciplines where he assumed various roles including the roles of a Civil Designer, Site Engineer, Site Agent, and Resident Engineer. Nkateko fulfills the role of Project Manager at Malmon Developments where he is responsible for the management of various projects from planning to completion. He specializes in project implementation management, resource management and quality assurance.He has developed a diverse background in municipal infrastructure design, construction supervision, asset management and construction management. Thabiso fulfills the position of Site Agent at Malmon Developments, where he is responsible for coordinating construction activities, managing site operations and overseeing the successful execution of civil engineering projects.

President Gumbeni joined Malmon Developments in October 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) Degree in Urban Engineering from the University of South Africa (2019) and a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology (2015) and is currently working towards obtaining a BSc Hons degree in XXXXXX. President has over 11 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering having worked as an engineer on the design and implementation of sewer systems, water reticulation networks, stormwater drainage, and road infrastructure. He is currently registered as a Candidate Technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). President fulfills the role of Project Manager at Malmon Developments overseeing the successful implementation of various construction projects. He specializes in project implementation management, resource planning, financial management and contractual management.Nobuhle specializes in site supervision, project planning and execution, contract administration, quality assurance, health and safety compliance, resource management, and stakeholder coordination.
